  • How do I enable my phone for internet usage and LowCaller?
    Most operators sell their mobile phones - direct and via retail - pre-configured for the services you contracted. However, in some cases default configurations do not allow 3rd party applications such as LowCaller to connect to the internet. Also, when you subscribe to a mobile data plan after you've bought the phone, you may need to do some settings yourself. You can always contact your mobile phone provider for more details.

  • How do I use LowCaller to make a call?
    Select a contact from your normal contact list and choose the Call option. LowCaller will automatically accept and process the call. If you have set LowCaller to ask you before each call, you will select LowCaller by clicking OK or simply by waiting until the call connects.
  • What should I do in case my calls don't connect?
    There could be a few causes for this problem.
    • Some phones (MIDP 1.0) don't allow a 3rd party application to start a phone call. In that case, you may need to launch the LowCaller application before each call you make.
    • Check if the number you registered with one of the Betamax labels has enough credit to make the call. If not, please top up and retry.
    • Check if you can make any other calls besides LowCaller calls in order to know where the problem comes from. If you cannot make any phone calls when LowCaller is not active, you may have a problem with your mobile operator that LowCaller is unable to solve

  • How can I retrieve my password?
    If you have lost your password and you have registered your email address you can request a password reset by going to voiplabel where you registered your username.
  • How can I change my phone number?
    The phonenumber you are using on your mobile phone is configured within the voiplabel you are using. If you wish to register another phone, please follow these steps:

    1) Go to the voiplabel you are using
    2) Login
    3) Go to the "personal details" section
    4) Change the mobile number you have configurated
    5) LowCaller will not recognize calls from this number and route them to the correct voipaccount
  • How can I change my e-mail address?
    The e-mail address you are using is configurated within the voiplabel you are using:

    1) Go to the voiplabel you are using
    2) Login
    3) Go to the "Client Settings" section
    4) Go to the "change my emailaddress" section
    5) Enter the new e-mail address you would like to use
